いま英国ではエリザベス女王即位60周年記念祭（Diamond Jubilee of Elizabeth II）が行われていますね。あいにくの天気もあって、トラブル続きのBBC報道に対していろいろと批判が飛び交っているようですが、国民にとっても女王ご自身にとっても生涯１度限りの祝典とあって大変盛り上がっているようです。
今回はこの記念祭に関する Sky News の記事をほんの少しとり上げて発音練習をしてみたいと思います。

今回はカナダ出身の人気歌手 Michael Bublé が 2010年に発表しイギリスでもヒットした “Hollywood” という曲を私なりに歌ってみましたのでアップします。Michael Bublé は “Put it in your head” や “you can find it in yourself” の部分の “it” の /t/ を glottal stop で [ɪʔ] と発音しています。私もそのまま真似してみました（[pʊt ɪʔ ɪn jə hed]、[ju kən faɪnd ɪʔ ɪn jɔːself]）。
